April 25: Opening Ceremony with Syracuse native Stephen Baldwin as special guest. Baldwin will present and discuss his new film The Flyboys by Rocco Devilliers (USA, 120 minutes, fiction)
May 1st: World Cinema Celebration at the Landmark Theater marks the official opening of the 2008 international screenings and competition. Special Event with international filmmakers in attendance.
Feature film: Red Like the Sky by Cristiano Bortone (Italy, 90 minutes, fiction).
